About the Role

As the Accounts Assistant Manager / Client Manager you will take on a varied and engaging role with a blend of client managementand technical accounting responsibilities. You will work with a diverseportfolio of clients ranging from SMEs to ownermanaged businesses across avariety of industries.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Client Relationship Management : Building and maintaining strong longlasting client relationships acting as their key point of contact for daytoday queries and advice.
  • Accounts Preparation : Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of statutory accounts management accounts and financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Leadership : Supporting and mentoring junior staff members reviewing their work and assisting in their professional development.
  • Tax Compliance : Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of VAT returns corporation tax computations and other tax obligations.
  • Business Advisory Services : Providing tailored advice to clients on improving financial performance cash flow management and growth strategies.
  • Compliance & Standards : Keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations ensuring clients remain compliant.

Requirements

About You

To succeed in this role you will have :

  • A professional qualification such as ACA ACCA or equivalent (partqualified or qualified by experience will also be considered).
  • A solid background in accountancy practice with experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles tax compliance and relevant software (e.g. Xero QuickBooks Sage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Leadership qualities with a desire to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • A proactive and solutionsoriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
