Structural Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer to join a successful growing consultancy based in Gateshead. The Successful Structural engineer will be accountable for features of the design work phase, working right through to the completion of the projects. The Structural Engineer will indealy have housing / extra care / nursing experience.

Structural Engineer Position Overview

• Undertaking structural surveys of buildings and structures,
• Preparing designs for structural schemes.
• Creating detailed designs and calculations to British Standards
• Using advice given by technicians to create detailed design drawings and specifications for Tender and Construction purposes.
• Visiting sites during the Construction phase to monitor progress and provide advice to Contractors.
• Knowledge of MasterSeries.
