Scope of Services :
- Provide technical expertise for the structural aspects of facilities decommissioning in the energy sector.
- Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new and temporary infrastructure and modifications to facilitate decommissioning of facilities in the energy sector.
- Provide technical input to estimates for project work scopes.
- Provide decommissioning expertise in the support of tenders.
- Project management of structural scope(s)
- Provide Structural expertise in decommissioning scope execution and tender activities.
- Develop project-specific decommissioning processes and procedures.
- Attend and input to progress and planning meetings.
- Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.
- Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
- Produce structural calculations and analysis.
- Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS.
- Provide checking and approval of discipline documents, complete interdisciplinary checking of documents where necessary.
- Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues (close working relationship with construction team to ensure fit-for-purpose, construction-led structural solutions are developed and implemented)
- Production of discipline documentation deliverables for inclusion in work packs
- Provide a level of technical support that satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case and that the PFEER performance standards ensure they are not compromised by any discipline engineering activities.
- Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards
- Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.
- provides technical assurance and oversight on structural design scope.
- coordinates structural design resource in line with project requirements.
