Job description

The Recruitment Group is looking for A Punch Setter Operator based in Loughborough.  Our client is a fast-growing company with big ambitions dedicated to serving their customers at the highest level.  We are looking for A Punch Setter Operator who is an experienced and passionate individual with a can-do attitude to join the team.  If you are interested in the Punch Setter Operator role, please read below. Please note that this is a temporary role.

Pay for the Punch Setter Operator :

  • 13.50 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience.)

Hours for the Punch Setter Operator :

  • Monday – Thursday – 07 : 30 – 16 : 30 Friday 07 : 30 – 12 : 30

    • Duties and Responsibilities for the Punch Setter Operator :

  • Set up and operate punch cutting machines efficiently, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output.
  • Load and unload materials and cut parts, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Quality check finished products and report any issues.
  • Follow health and safety protocols.
  • Keep the working area clan and tidy, hazard free.
  • Any other duties requested.

    • The Candidate :

  • Experience with setting and operating Trumpf or Amada punch cutting machines.
  • My client is looking for someone who is keen to be hands on.
  • Worked in engineering and who wants to learn.
  • From a manufacturing / production background.
  • Physically able and fine with heavy lifting.
  • Strong communication skills and problem – solving abilities.
  • Be a naturally forward planner.
