Customs Analyst (6 Month FTC)

We are working with a well-established retailer who is looking for a Customs Analyst to join their team in Coventry on a 6 month contract.

You will be responsible for Completion of assorted Customs & Excise declarations and assisting the business to ensure it is legally compliant with Customs & Excise regulations.

• Responsibilities; Complete Customs and Excise returns
• Settle deferment statements with Import declarations
• Carry out compliance checks on Customs and Excise declarations
• Provide training to internal colleagues
• Review internal procedures to ensure up to date
• Provide support to company on HTS Code classifications
• Conduct compliance checks on Export documentation
• Support the Customs & Excise wider team where required
• Effectively interpret HMRC customs notices and other information papers
• Support overarching business goals
• Build relationships with internal and external networks
• Complete Customs & Excise processes and procedures are compliant and up to date
