Duties You Will Be Performing :
Installation and Maintenance : Carry out installation, fault finding, service, and maintenance of commercial gas boilers and systems.Plumbing Services : Perform planned and reactive works on heating, hot water, and plumbing services.Heating Plant and Ventilation : Conduct planned and unplanned works on heating plant, ventilation, and cold water services.Inspections and Repairs : Perform internal inspections of hot water calorifiers and cylinders. Assist with repairing plumbing fixtures when required.Fault Diagnosis and Repairs : Utilize your expertise to diagnose faults and conduct effective repairs in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Safety and Compliance : Ensure all work is completed in a safe, timely, professional, and efficient manner, adhering to relevant standards, policies, and procedures.Safety Promotion : Actively promote a pro-active Safety Culture within the team.Mobile Tablet Usage : Ensure all work is completed and updated via the provided Mobile Tablet.Technical Experience and Qualifications :
Essential :
Fully Gas Qualified : Hold CCN1, COCN1, CoDNCO1, CPA1, and CENWAT qualifications.Mechanical Background : Completion of a recognized Mechanical-related apprenticeship or possessing City and Guilds or applicable NVQ qualification.Industrial Heating and Plumbing Experience : Demonstrated knowledge and experience of industrial heating and plumbing systems.LTHW Calorifiers and Hot Water Systems : Proficient in the maintenance and repair of systems such as water heaters, boilers, and associated pipework & components.T rade Relevant Legislation : Stay up to date with the latest trade relevant legislation.Desirable :
Plumbing Qualifications : Possess NVQ level 2 in Plumbing Installation or C&G 6129 Plumbing Maintenance.Mechanical-Electrical Conversion : ME12 Mechanical - Electrical Conversion qualification is an advantage.Versatility : Willingness to support other trades when required.This is a permanent position that offers stability, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to work with a supportive team.
