Primary Teacher
A large, diverse primary school in Sydenham is looking for an experienced primary school teacher to join their teaching team on a part-time basis to teach in Year 6.
The Role
In this role, you will take class teaching responsibilities for a Year 6 class two days a week in a job share capacity. You will work closely with the partner Year 6 teacher and the wider Year 6 teaching team to share planning and collaborate on assessments and enrichment activities. You will have support from a dedicated team of teaching assistants as well as an experienced SENCO and SEN support team, as pupils attending the school come from diverse backgrounds and a larger than average number of pupils will require support.
Requirements
The school is looking for an experienced, qualified primary teacher. You should have good curriculum knowledge for upper KS2 and be able to bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach to bring subjects to life. Good classroom management and differentiation skills are important.
