Job details

We are seeking a confident and well-organised individual to assist in our Local Land Charges (LLC) service providing search responses to the conveyancing sector part of the house-buying process.

You will assist with the maintenance of the Local Land Charges Register, answering enquiries and providing searches and certificates for Local Land Charges (LLC) and Local Authority (Con29) enquiries.

You may already be working within this service or have experience working in a planning or housing department, or an interest in developing a career in this area. Have solid administrative and database inputting skills, strong attention to detail and be able to carry out research work on your initiative.

You will need the ability to analyse and interpret data (including spatial mapping data) to provide answers to questions contained in search requests. Be confident in using IT databases (any experience with Idox TLC or Uniform is advantageous but not essential).

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, has good communication skills and be adept at managing their own workload in meeting demanding deadlines.

The successful candidate will need to work well as part of a small team and have the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in other departments and external organisations.

The postholder should have the ability to work flexibly, hybrid working arrangements will be available, but there will also be a requirement to undertake office-based activities within the role as required and you should therefore be within commutable distance to our offices in Huntingdon.
