Design Manager needed in Highgate - Prime Residential New buildThis project requires a permanent Design Manager to join the team on a £70m newbuild of 34+ high-end apartments in Highgate. 2-year duration, from start to finish. This is an immediate role.4 new build blocks, the apartments will be valued around £4 / 5m each with similar specs, and the complex itself will contain swimming pool, spa area, terraces, landscaped areas, brickwork, stone, slate roof etc.Depending on the skill set and background of the appointed Design Manager, the company is looking for someone to work alongside another Design Manager with one taking the lead on the facades (roofing, externals etc.) and the other to focus on the interiors.Standard Design Management duties such as leading the DCM workshops, liaison with document controller, collaborating with the design consultants and subcontractors, checking the info flows up to site, preparing DRM's and IRS (which is a beast on this project) so important not to let the design or the dates slip, and managing the scope of works.What they are looking for in a Design Manager :

• Have held a position of (and be a proven) Design on schemes upwards of £20m
• Time spent with previous employers
