Role :                Senior Lead – Survivor Voice (Maternity Cover)Based :             Remote with occasional onsite workRate :                    £25ph umbStart Date :       ASAP Duration :         Fixed Term Contract until June 2025Hours :             35 hours per week Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity, is looking to recruit a Senior Lead – Survivor Voice to play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing a Whole Health Approach to domestic abuse by ensuring the active inclusion of victim-survivors’ voices.Synopsis of duties : Organise and facilitate interviews and focus groups with victim-survivors, children, and young people.Coordinate enquiries from stakeholders regarding the project and provide regular updates to the steering group on all aspects of survivor engagement.Liaise with key partners to map existing survivor networks and identify avenues for further engagement.Lead the development and cultivation of trusting relationships with survivors to ensure their voices are central to the project.Design, distribute, and analyse surveys that explore the experiences of victim-survivors.Collect, collate, and analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to inform project insights.In collaboration with the Programme and Project Managers, ensure that the development of tools and resources integrates findings from survivor engagement.Produce comprehensive reports detailing the outcomes and insights from all elements of survivor engagementEssential Requirements : Proven experience of working in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector.A thorough understanding of domestic abuse, its dynamics, and its impact on the health of survivors and their children.An understanding of the Coordinated Community Response to domestic abuse and a commitment to all aspects of partnership and multi-agency working to improve that response.An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, especially in relation to domestic abuse.A genuine interest in, and understanding of, the importance of survivor engagement.Experience writing reports, presentations, and training materials.Experience working in partnership with those who have lived experience to enable their full participation in projects.Experience collecting, maintaining, analysing, and presenting data for reports and / or visual presentationSupporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency
