This is an exciting opportunity to work within an exceptional historic garden, collaborating closely with the Head Gardener to maintain the estate to the highest standards.This is a fantastic time to join the gardens team, as they have recently restored the walled kitchen garden to a productive space, with plans underway to enhance other areas of the garden in the coming years.Key Responsibilities
• General garden maintenance, including mowing, weeding, pruning, and hedge cutting
• Maintaining formal gardens, borders, arboretum, and topiary
• Upkeep of the walled kitchen garden, greenhouses, and plant nursery
• Woodland and stream garden maintenance
• Care of garden buildings, paths, walls, fences, and gates
• Assisting with seasonal planting and propagation
• Ensuring all work adheres to health and safety policiesSkills & Attributes
• Relevant horticultural qualifications (RHS Level 2 or equivalent)
• Professional gardening experience, preferably in a large private garden
