About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation within the Defence and Aerospace sector, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead critical engineering programmes. You’ll be responsible for project planning, risk management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement while guiding junior and mid-level project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering / manufacturing-focused projects.
• Manage RAID logs, planning, finance, reporting, and presentations .
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders , including 3rd party suppliers.
• Support contract and bid management processes.
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level project managers .
• Ensure project delivery aligns with client and regulatory requirements.

Essential Criteria

Mid to senior-level project management experience in Defence, Aerospace, or similar manufacturing environments.

Active DV Clearance (Developed Vetting) – applications without this will not be considered.

Strong experience with RAID management, project planning, financial tracking, and reporting .

Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills.

Proven background in contract and bid support .

Experience managing teams of project managers .

Desirable

Knowledge of composite materials in engineering / manufacturing environments.
