Experienced Registered Manager - Looked after Children and young people

Salary : £54,000 per Annum, plus £12,000 joining bonus!

As a Registered Manager you'll be integral to the smooth running of daily life within our homes, enabling young people to thrive. Our homes all have a dedicated Deputy Manager to support you. Your role will include :

  • Managing a warm and friendly home , that provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes that are authentic to them.
  • Achieving compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted, ensuring your home is always able to evidence a high standard of care and quality.
  • Undertaking a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, if you do not already hold this, so you have all the knowledge and skills you need to help your team achieve success.
  • Leading a team of and facilitating their professional development so that they not only provide high-quality care and support, but are enabled to fulfil their own career potential too.

  • Lead a team : You'll inspire and lead your team in their roles working with children and young people and ensure they have everything they need to enable the most appropriate outcomes for each looked after young person.

  • Ensure Safety and Compliance : You will ensure compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
  • What we're looking for from you :

  • Your experience : You have a minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted home that carries a rating of good or above.
  • Your competence : You hold an NVQ / QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People's Services. OR willing to undertake your Level 5 qualification as part of the role
  • Your focus : You pay attention to detail and never compromise on quality because you know that focusing on the success of small things can add up to have a really big positive impact.
  • Your commitment : You're passionate that children and young people should have equal opportunities, a voice that should be heard and they should be enabled to create their own bright futures.
  • Full manual UK driving licence .
