Reporting to :  Client and Parents

Location : Great Barr, B43

Rate of Pay : £9.50

Nature of the job role : Personal Assistant / Companion

Main Duties :   Support to go out and about in the community

Personal duties : To be discussed at interview stage

Domestic duties : Support with hoisting

Social Duties : Going out for a coffee, shopping and places where client may request to visit.

The role is for a companion / carer, the client will require support with items like feeding and hoisting but mainly it is to go out for a coffee and retail therapy.

Client would like the carer to enjoy chatting and having a laugh as she has a great personality. The support is for a young lady, as it would be nice for her to have time away from her parents and her parents to have some time to do things on their own.

Hours of work : 8 Hours per week to be used all in one or over a couple of Occasions, early evening and some weekends

Qualifications : To drive, hoisting, if you have NVQ in care would be preferred but not necessary

Skills & Experience :   Supporting a person in a caring role, use of a hoist, clean driving license, other than that to have a friendly, caring personality
