    About the role

    The Digital Content Officer (Social and Email) is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital content across social media and email marketing channels to enhance engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.

    Responsibilities

    Social Media Management :

    • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase audience engagement and brand presence.
    • Create and schedule posts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others.
    • Monitor trends and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community engagement.
    • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Email Marketing :

    • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional content, and automated email sequences.
    • Manage and segment email lists to improve targeting and engagement.
    • Track and analyze email performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to optimize future campaigns.
    • Content Creation & Copywriting :

    • Develop engaging, high-quality content tailored for different audiences across email and social media.
    • Ensure brand voice consistency and alignment with marketing objectives.
    • Create compelling visuals or coordinate with designers to enhance content appeal.
    • Analytics & Reporting :

    • Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) to track and report on campaign effectiveness.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve digital engagement strategies.
    • Work closely with other marketing team members, designers, and content creators to align messaging.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices for digital content.
    • Required Qualifications

    • Undergraduate Degree
    • Strong experience in social media management and email marketing.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Knowledge of email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) and social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer).
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize content strategies.
    • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
    • Working locations

    • Hybrid model, working in the Bath office and remotely.
