Role : Youth Support Worker

Experience Required

Location : New Malden

Start Date : Immediate

Duration : 1-year contract (with potential for extension)

Contract Type : Temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent

Daily Pay : £14-16ph

Are you an experienced and confident Youth Support Worker with a background in behavioural and SEND support? Do you have teaching assistant experience and are looking to join an outstanding College?

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to join our team for a full-time, long-term assignment starting in September for the full academic year 2024 / 2025. If you have experience working with children and are passionate about making a difference, this is the perfect role for you!

Role Responsibilities :

  • Create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Develop positive interactions to build students' confidence and self-esteem.
  • Assist the class teacher and support classroom activities.
  • Provide 1 : 1 and small group support to students.

  • Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
  • Ready to start immediately as a Youth Support Worker.
  • Willing to apply for or already possess an enhanced DBS on the update service.
