Environmental Advisor

Organisation with an excellent reputation for their high-quality project delivery in the rail sector requires an Environmental Advisor, based in Derby. Responsibilities : Work as part of the SHEQ team, ensuring compliance with NR015-L2-ENV-015 and other Network Rail standards Develop Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans, Incident Response and other relevant documentation Ensure implementation of the company's Integrated Management System Review the environmental management requirements in WPPs and CPPs Prepare consent applications, as well as pre-application consulting Give support and advice to colleagues concerning Site Waste Management Plans Create and deliver environmental training covering inductions, toolbox talks and any further, specific training Conduct site inspections, recording and reporting on findings Monitor and report on targets, KPIs, inspection and audit findings, incidents, close-calls etc The Person : Holds an Environmental qualification Valid UK driving licence Knowledge and experience of the rail sector, including NWR standards Member of the IEMA - MIEMA or AIEMA This is a great opportunity to join a reputable business set to enjoy a successful 2025.
