Job Description :

Main Purpose of the role : Visit multiple properties per day to produce accurate Energy Performance Certificates for marketing within the agreed timescales.

Location : Various locations across London

Salary : £27K + £4.8K bonus, travel allowance, and up to £1.6K equipment allowance after probation.

Key Responsibilities

  • EPC generation and lodgement
  • Assessing homes for alternative heating systems and other energy efficiency products
  • Measuring properties for RICS compliant floor plan production (training provided)
  • Liaise with Bookings Administrators, Sales and Lettings offices, and external clients
  • Return completed work to offices within required deadlines
  • Respond to internal or external queries

Requirements & Skills

  • Customer focused and good communicator
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment
  • An understanding of the laws surrounding the role
  • IT skills for using software to produce the EPC
  • The ability to explain the EPC clearly to clients
  • The ability to work well with a wide range of people
  • Good observational skills
  • The ability to take accurate measurements
  • The ability to keep legible, complete, and accurate records
  • Knowledge of construction methods, construction materials, and heating systems
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good time-management skills
  • Good general knowledge of London Area

    • Desirable

  • Knowledge of producing floor plans
  • NDEA or on-construction accreditation
