The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Loading Shovels to perform various tasks in a busy, fast paced recycling yard.DutiesOperate Loading ShovelConduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.QualificationsStrong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating heavy machineryValid commercial driving license with experienceProficiency in operating loading shovels and excavatorsAbility to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipmentUnderstanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction and excavation environmentsPrevious experience in a similar role or related field is preferredYou will be responsible for assisting the yard supervisor with the general running of the yard which will include : Enforcing Health and safety.Loading / unloading vehicles.Organising traffic.Keeping the production line running.Covering breaksCPCS license requiredPrevious experience in a similar environment would be preferred
