Job description

What you'll be doing...

Purpose of Role :

Support our UK accounting team in maintaining and analyzing company accounting records, and assist in preparing working files for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Maintain general accounting activities, i.e. day to day financial accounting, loan finance, bank accounts.
  • Performing account reconciliations and open item maintenance for balance sheet accounts as well as the fixed asset sub-ledger and petty cash.
  • Assisting in monthly closing
  • Assisting in regular reporting to management team and investors
  • Assisting in the annual budgeting process
  • Support on external audits
  • Preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns
  • Calculation of monthly fees

  • To be successful you’ll bring...

  • Proven experience in accounting / controlling or auditing
  • Part ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Experience in working in a commercial environment
  • Good understanding of financial accounting standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Team player
  • Self-starter and problem solver
  • Experience with process and systems (ERP experience desirable)
  • MS Office skills : Advanced / expert Excel
