Ready, Steady, COOK!

Busy Bees Day Nursery at Belper, Derbyshire , are so egg-cited to rustle up a Kitchen Assistant on a part time basis… no evenings or weekend required! Busy Bees follow an NHS accredited nutritional meal plan (which changes seasonally) for our children to enjoy throughout their busy day!

This position is working Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 15 hours per week or Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week.

What can an Kitchen Assistant expect at a Busy Bees Nursery?

To cook and provide high quality, nutritious and freshly prepared meals, and snacks, in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.

Follow safe working practices for children and staff and to comply with Busy Bees food hygiene and safety policies.

Comply with the company’s procedures relating to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).

And most of all…have FUN!

You will be required to hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (training offered)
