The role

Now they are looking for a Social Media / Performance Marketing Manager who has a history of developing and implementing traffic-driving and effective social media and advertising campaigns across a range of sectors. You’ll take the lead in this role, so you’ll be expected to oversee all paid activity across accounts which includes creating captivating and targeted copy, managing varying budgets, and monitoring campaign performance for optimisation. You’ll also be expected to generate in-depth informative reports to feedback to the client and to support improvements in the future.
As the person at the helm of all paid activity, you’ll be on hand to support and inspire a small, yet talented team of paid social specialists and will work in tandem with the organic social team to ensure consistency and cohesion. Collaboration is key here too, so you’ll be working closely with other departments within the agency, supporting them with all paid queries, promoting the use of paid activity, and getting involved with new business activity.
What we’re looking for
We do need someone with experience for this role, so we would love to speak with an existing Performance Marketing Manager or Paid Social Media Manager who has experience working across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You must have experience managing targeted campaigns from concept to completion, and writing must come naturally to you as well, as you’ll be developing engaging ads and copy. Software-wise, you’ll need to be knowledgeable and have experience in Google Ads and Analytics and SEO tools. Strong project management skills are also required, and it would be beneficial if you had a history of mentoring and leading a team.
In terms of softer skills, this role calls for someone with outstanding communication skills, who possesses a keen eye for detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
