We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our Asset Management team in the Birmingham area of the West Midlandsregion.
As an Engineer you will work as part of the supportive West Midlands asset management team but also be given an area of the waterway network which will give you hands-on experience in managing our unique historic infrastructure. You will be responsible for inspecting and assessing the condition of our assets, prioritising repair and renewal works, and supporting the operations team on minor and reactive repairs. You will act as client throughout the project lifecycle and providing technical support to other Trust departments.
We are an ICE approved employer, providing structured learning and professional development support.

This role will involve regular travel to and along the canals and river navigations of the network and occasionally you may also be required to work nationally too.
