Responsibilities :  As a French and Spanish Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing students' language proficiency and fostering their appreciation for Spanish and French cultures.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Planning and delivering dynamic and interactive lessons in French and Spanish, tailored to students of different ages and abilities.
  • Creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and facilitates the development of language skills.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Organising and participating in cultural excursions, language exchanges, and other relevant extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the German and Spanish curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and the school's objectives.
  • Maintaining effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, and addressing any concerns or queries.
  • Engaging in professional development opportunities and contributing to the wider school community through faculty meetings and school events.

Requirements :  To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes :

  • A recognised teaching qualification and a relevant degree in Spanish, French, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish and French to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the German and Spanish languages, cultures, and literature.
  • A passion for language acquisition and the ability to inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that values multicultural understanding and celebrates diversity.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and language-related trends.
