Job description

Samurai Machine tools is a start-up CNC machine tool company that is currently searching for electrical / robotics / mechanical engineers. You will be leading the electrical design and manufacturing of the Samurai 120H machines, playing a major role in ensuring the success of this product and company. H machines use a windows based CNC system (Mach 4), which uses a Kingstar RTX runtime licence to dedicate one core for machine control and leaves the remaining cores for the Windows UI. We will need to take the Samurai 120H from its current stage as a prototype to production model in 6 months, then launch. Responsibilities As the chief electrical engineer, you will lead the development of CNC electronics Design beautiful and functional control panels and electrical cabinets Test prototypes and system capabilities Find suppliers / manufacturers of electronic components Hands on work with prototypes, soldering, assembly e.c.t Use of CAD software (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks) Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Strong problem solving, physics knowledge, and math skills Experience with machinery or other complex electronic products Understanding of global safety regulations regarding electrical systems / products Ability to learn without supervision, to tackle new problems Benefits Flexible schedule Work both on site and off site according to the project needs Have a large impact on the future of Samurai Machine tools Notes Candidates will be judged based on their ability to solve real world problems, not necessarily formal qualifications.
