Job description

New urgent role working with a specialist carpentry / joinery subcontractor installing fire doors on a new build construction scheme in North London. Applicants need to be immediately available and hold an in date FIRAS accreditation in order to be selected. Benefits : Quick start for suitable applicantsLong term freelance workCIS Method of payment is authorisedAttractive ratesDuties : Installation and inspections on fire doors on site, ensuring compliance with standards.Providing expert guidance and oversight to installation teams, identifying and addressing fire safety risks during the construction phase.Preparing detailed inspection reports and issuing recommendations for any necessary remedial actions, ensuring the smooth flow of construction.Maintaining excellent communication with site managers, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration on fire safety.Keeping up with the latest fire door installation standards and best practices.Maintain a high level of health and safety on siteEnsure the quality of works being completed are according to drawings / spec.Requirements : FIRAS AccreditationCSCS, SSSTS, FIRST Aid ticketsAble to start immediatelyExperience in fire door installation on construction sites Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
