We are looking for a Teacher of Economics & Business Studies to join a highperforming secondary school in Hounslow from September 2025. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive department delivering engaging lessons that help students prepare for future success.

Teacher of Economics & Business Studies Role & Responsibilities :

  • Teach Economics & Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 maintaining high academic standards.
  • Track and assess student progress using data to guide teaching methods.
  • Plan and deliver wellstructured lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Provide additional support for underachieving students through interventions and mentoring.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities including businessrelated clubs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches.
  • Maintain high standards of student behaviour and engagement.

Teacher of Economics & Business Studies Requirements :

  • QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in Economics Business Studies or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Economics & Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 with proven strong outcomes.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging and inspiring students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with a focus on student progress.
  • A commitment to high standards and creating a positive learning environment.
