• Location :  Haverhill, CB9 7FD Working Hours : Ad Hoc - Temporary Shifts Available Pay Rate : Monday – Friday Days : £19.50 P / hr Including Holiday PayMonday – Friday Nights : £21.74 P / hr Including Holiday PaySaturday Days and Nights : £22.91 P / hr Including Holiday PaySunday Days and Nights : £24.04 P / hr Including Holiday PayPay Rate from 8th December to 4th January : Monday – Friday Days : £21.29 P / hr Including Holiday PayMonday – Friday Nights : £24.09 P / hr Including Holiday PaySaturday Days and Nights : £24.65 P / hr Including Holiday PaySunday Days and Nights : £25.77 P / hr Including Holiday PayAbout this role : Refrigerated work – You will be transporting goods that need to be kept in a chilled trailer, at a specific temperature. Full training will be provided when operating a chilled vehicle.Trunking – You will be driving on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthinessMaintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.About You : You should hold a valid HGV 1 / C+E LicenceNo more than 6 points no DD / DR Code convictionsHold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cardsUnderstand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislationAble to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctlyShould comply with on-site health and safety requirementsExcellent communication skillsAbout Logistics PeopleThe Logistics People are the inhouse recruiter for the Culina Group LTD recruiting for driving roles throughout the group.
