As the shopfitting and high street retail industries have become more competitive this company sit themselves at the top with blue chip retail clients.The RoleYou must be capable of carrying out most pre and post contract quantity surveying duties without supervision including : Production of estimates from drawings.Ensure that any estimates make adequate provision for both H&S and Environmental complianceProduction of Quantities, rates build ups and production of detailed estimatesAgreeing and placing of sub-contract orders.Liaison with Contracts ManagersProject cost monitoring and reporting.Account agreement with sub-contractors and clientsThe employee should ideally have the following attributes in order to be proficient in their role : Understanding of construction techniques with a particular reference to carpentry, joinery and finishing trades.Be computer literate.Professional and pleasant personalityGood written and verbal communication skillsPro-activeAble to work well under pressure and manage the pressure of conflicting demands and prioritize tasksAttention to detailTo work independently as well as in a teamBe persistent & enthusiastic.Tact, discretion and respect for confidentialityReliable and honest
