Job Title : Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

Location : South East London (Hospital & Community Settings)

Duration : 3–6 months (with potential to extend)

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am–4 : 30pm

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : Ongoing (initial 3–6 month contract)

What You’ll Be Doing :

Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and play a key role in improving the lives of children and young people across acute and community settings. In this role, you will :

Perform comprehensive assessments for paediatric patients

Create and implement tailored intervention and care plans

Deliver evidence-based therapy to promote functional development

Collaborate closely with families, schools, and multi-disciplinary teams

Maintain clear and accurate documentation in line with NHS standards

Requirements & Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

A current and valid HCPC registration

Experience in paediatrics , ideally within NHS acute / community settings

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

A commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centred care

Working Hours & Contract Duration :

This is a flexible, full-time locum role requiring availability Monday to Friday , with some flexibility for community-based work. The initial contract is for 3–6 months with a strong chance of extension depending on service needs and performance.
