Painter & DecoratorBirmingham, NECFull-time / PermanentJob Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our client, a global commercial FM business based in Birmingham. This full-time role involves carrying out high-quality painting and decorating work across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities :

• Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling, and priming, to ensure a smooth finish
• Applying paint, varnish, and wallpaper to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
• Mixing and matching colours to achieve the desired aesthetic
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Using a variety of tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, and spray guns
• Repairing and restoring damaged surfaces as required
• Liaising with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are metRequirements :
• Proven experience as a painter, preferably in residential or commercial settings
• Strong knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
• Ability to work at heights and operate necessary equipment safely
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
• CSCS card (preferred but not mandatory)Benefits :
