Rate : £50 - £55 PER HOUR

36.5 hours per week. Days only. Monday to Friday.

I am recruiting for a global leading process manufacturing organisation, who are an established supplier of fundamental products and materials to wider global markets. Due to continued growth, they are looking to align global processes and control systems.

They require an experienced Process Controls Engineer on an interim basis for an initial 12 month contract (with likely extension), to oversee the continued maintenance and upgrade of existing control systems and processes.

For this position of Process Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties :

  • Maintain the upkeep of the process control systems and applications
  • Ensuring everything is backed Up
  • Support Process Improvement and Process Engineering teams in the development and programming of control sequences
  • Utilizing standards developed for programming of DCS, ESD and SCADA HMI packages
  • Examine and translate users' requirements and / or equipment-related process control queries into appropriate solutions
  • Develop / update standards for any new / modified control system architecture
