Job Title : Senior Quantity SurveyorSalary : Up to £95,000 + BonusesLocation : Cambridge, UKCompany : Leading Groundworks SubcontractorAre you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable groundworks subcontractor in Cambridge. Our client has a track record of delivering high-quality projects across the region and is looking to strengthen their team with a highly skilled individual.Key Responsibilities : Overseeing the financial aspects of groundworks projects from inception to completion.Preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets.Managing subcontractor agreements and overseeing variations.Conducting site visits and ensuring financial reporting is aligned with project progress.Managing cash flow and ensuring profitability of projects.Providing guidance to junior surveyors and contributing to their development.Collaborating closely with the project management team and clients to resolve any financial issues.Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, including procurement and tendering processes.Key Requirements : A proven background in Quantity Surveying within the construction or groundworks sector.At least 5+ years of experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role.Strong understanding of groundworks and civil engineering.Experience with tendering, contract negotiation, and project cost management.Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously.A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience).RICS or CIOB membership is desirable but not essential.What We Offer : Competitive salary of up to £95,000 depending on experience.Performance-based bonuses.A supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development.Access to industry-leading tools and technology.Flexible working arrangements.If you're ready to take the next step in your career with a leading subcontractor, we'd love to hear from you.
