We are a small business, trading since 1996. We sell promotional merchandise and direct mail services. Around 80% of our clients are based overseas.We’re looking for an experienced part time bookkeeper to join our busy team, and help keep our finances running smoothly. This is a flexible role with the opportunity to work around your schedule – ideal for someone looking to balance out work with other commitments.Responsibilities :
- Entering sales and purchase invoices and payments.
- Making payments to suppliers.
- Dealing with customer overdue accounts.
- Checking supplier invoices costs against orders.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Handling the monthly payroll.
- Running the VAT quarter end and submitting VAT Return.
- Completing various admin tasks associated with the bookkeeping function.
- As we’re a small business, you would take full responsibility for taking care of the books, and would report directly to the directors.Requirements :
- Previous bookkeeping and some payroll experience is essential.
- Formal qualifications are not strictly necessary, experience is more important. Though preference may be given to candidates with AAT or ICB qualifications. ACCA would of course be particularly welcome
- Good working knowledge of Excel, though no formal qualifications are necessary.
