Graduate Audiologist
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate to join the team here at the Portland Hospital as an Audiologist to assist in the day-to-day running of the Hearing & Balance Department. The post will involve performing paediatric hearing, balance and electrophysiological testing.
Duties & Responsibilties
- Hearing assessments for new born to 18 years : Hearing tests, impedance testing and OAEs
- CAPD assessments
- Working alongside ENT consultants
- Assisting Audio-vestibular Physicians in hearing & Balance assessments
- Balance assessments : VNG, calorics and rotary chair
- Electro-physiological testing : ABRs, ASSR, c-VEMPs & o-VEMPs
- Explanation of results, where appropriate
