Description

You will undertake the modern upholstery route of the Furniture

Manufacturing Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard and be based in Bolton at our large workshops.

Learning how to upholster a variety of chairs and settees to a high standard in both fabric and leather using both power and hand tools

Learning to use cutting tools, saws, staple guns and upholstery tools.

Deep buttoning

Finishing and studding

Upholstery preparation

Upholstery of high end leather furniture

You will be assigned a mentor and trainer to support you with your training and development.
