As a Teaching Assistant at SWAAY you will be willing to engage in all aspects of the school curriculum, including sports activities on daily basis whilst promoting positive behaviour and independent learning. You will offer secondary education to young males aged 11-17 with attachment difficulties, developmental trauma and sexually harmful behaviour. You will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining safe learning environments, safeguarding pupils and liaising with residential and therapy staff as required. Our aim is to provide each of our pupils with an Education for Life, by valuing and respecting them as individuals, developing their self-esteem, relationships and attachments.
