Benefits and Rewards.A highly varied and interesting role, working in a fast-paced environment.Nightshift Hours.Employer pension scheme.28-days holiday per year.Free onsite parking.Opportunity for permanent contracts for the right person.The hours you will work be WorkingNightshift22.00pm till 06.00amThe pay you will receive.£13.24 plus clocking in bonusThe Job role you will do.Responsible for visually checking the quality of product against the customer specification on a regular basis.To take regular samples throughout the shift ensuring all samples are labelled correctly with all required information.Inspect and verify packing format against specification / colour cards, labels and paperwork are correct.Inspection and measurement of fabricated parts.Use of vernier calipers, rules, measurement equipmentParticipate and oversee the sorting of any finished goods returned or put on hold (external and internal.)Ensure metal detector checks are being carried out correctly; any issues to be reported to Shift Supervisor & Senior Quality Technician.Stop production line if major non-compliance of specifications, standards or quality is found during the inspection process.Complete all required paperwork as required in line with internal procedures and maintain inspection journals and daily summary logs as required.Police and ensure clean as you go policy are carried out by all entering production hall.Ensure comprehensive handover happens when on early shiftAbout you.Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment.Must be computer literateA positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.Focused on quality and excellence of end product.Motivated to meet targets and deadlines.Working either independently or within a team.Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company.Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.Achieve team objectives.Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
