Role : PICU Doctor (SpR level)

Location : London

Contract : Permanent

Hours : Part Time (1 x 24hr shift per week or 2 x 12hr shifts per week)

Salary : £90,000 FTE

Are you an exceptional Resident Doctor searching for a new challenge? A great hospital based in Central London is recruiting for three experienced PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) Doctors to join their fantastic team.

Essential Requirements :

Valid GMC registration and current licence to practice.
4 years UK experience on a PICU Ward at a Senior SPR Level (or Consultant).
A Royal College Membership (RCPCH or equivalent).

Main Duties :

Supporting the functionality of the PICU ward.

Independently conduct medical care of inpatients, including clerking new planned and unplanned admissions, daily patient ward rounds, and responding to medical emergencies.

Deliver medical procedures as required and requested by the lead consultant.

Contribute to and take part in audits and the training of junior staff.

Continuously engage with training in order to improve and strive for excellence, for staff and patients.
