Who are we looking for?
The main purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the day to day running of the Contract, encompassing the planning of works and managing the performance. This role includes people management, health & safety compliance and assisting the Contract Managers where necessary to deliver the requirements of out Telford Contract. The total working hours for this role is 37 per week on a permanent basis.

Are you who we are looking for?
- You have extensive previous experience of working in a ground’s maintenance settings
- Can work independently but also deliver as part of a wider team.
- Can use any previous experience to resolve challenges whilst maintaining great levels of service.
- You have a work safe home safe attitude, not only for you but all site users.
- For this role, it is important to note that the candidate should possess some type of computer literacy as we are moving to handheld devices
- Proven experience in a similar role is desirable
- You are a strong-willed leader with the determination to succeed
- Manage the performance of Contract staff, through regular activity briefings and tool box talks. As well as this, you will give all direct reports the opportunity to discuss their work, challenges, and any aspirations
- To understand and review cost and expenditure to ensure that targets are met. Also, to manage budgets accordingly
- IOSH level qualification, horticultural qualification & a driving license required
