Newly Qualified Solicitor – Employment Law

Location : Shrewsbury

Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing Employment Law team within a well-established and ambitious legal practice based in Shrewsbury.

This role offers a blend of supporting senior colleagues and running your own caseload across both contentious and non-contentious matters, with exposure to work for both claimants and respondents.

The Role :

This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly qualified Solicitor with up to 3 years’ post-qualification experience in Employment Law. You'll handle a varied caseload and work closely with a supportive team of legal experts known for their commercial approach and client-first mindset.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Advising on a range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious
  • Managing multiple cases simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrating excellent file management and client care
  • Attending networking and business development events to support the team’s growth

About You :

  • You’ll be a confident communicator who enjoys direct client contact and thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have :
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Experience advising on both claimant and respondent matters
  • A proactive, commercial outlook with a focus on achieving client objectives
  • A willingness to contribute to the team’s wider marketing and BD initiatives
