Join Collins Aerospace as a Finance Analyst Industrial Placement and gain firsthand experience in one of the world’s leading aerospace companies. This placement offers an in-depth look into our Finance function, equipping you with practical skills and knowledge to support your career in Finance.

What You’ll Do

This role offers the chance to engage directly with core business functions, allowing you to :

  • Complete monthly financial control processes, such as journal and spreadsheet checks
  • Prepare monthly accounts, supporting both financial and management accounting
  • Take ownership of assigned balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in reviewing cost reduction activities and ensure alignment across departments
  • Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley self-assessment audits and documentation
  • Collaborate with programs, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to develop financial bid models
  • Support ad hoc finance projects as needed

    • About You

  • Currently an undergraduate studying Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, aiming to achieve a 2 : 1 or above.
  • Demonstrated interest in a Finance career.
  • Strong team-player with the ability to build relationships across various functions.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and well-organized, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
