Technical & Quality Assistant for our Manufacturing client based in Sheffield, S9.Technical & Quality Assistant Benefits : Salary : 28-34k DOELocation : Sheffield, S9 - full time office basedHours : 8am to 5pmContract : PermanentOnsite parking availableTechnical & Quality Assistant Duties : Produce manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD to a high standardAssist in the resolution of manufacturing problemsDeal with internal & external queries relating to fire certification, quality systems, chain of custody etc.Assist in the development of new and existing products, processes & servicesAssist with & carry out internal audits on all aspects of the company quality management & chain of custody systemsAttend relevant certification / trade conferencesTechnical & Quality Assistant Criteria : Good understanding of timber-based productsUnderstanding of fire resistant products - preferably doors / Door setsGood understanding of manufacturing techniques used within the timber industry Good AutoCAD experience is essentialGood working knowledge of Autodesk Revit & Fusion 360 would be advantageousFamiliar with the needs & requirements of quality management systems to ISO 9001 : 2015 preferably hold an internal auditor qualificationFamiliar with the needs & requirements of chain of custody systems to current FSC & PEFC standardsExcellent attention to detailGood understanding of Microsoft Office. Particularly Word & ExcelGood literacy & numeracy skillsTechnical & Quality Assistant Qualifications : Qualification / experience AutoCAD or similarQualification / experience in manufacturing Qualification / experience with quality management system
