Join the BOC Team as  Van Driver / Trade Counter Assistant

BOC, a leading provider of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Van Driver / Trade Counter Assistant at our depot in Wembley, London.

About the Role :

This exciting role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and respected company. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, both on the road and at our busy trade counter.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Customer Service :

Provide friendly and efficient service to customers at the trade counter.

  • Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with orders.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Van Driving :

    • Deliver and collect gases and equipment to and from customer sites.

  • Ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation and adherence to all traffic regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Warehouse Duties :

    • Assist with stock control and inventory management.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    • Requirements :

  • Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, sales, customer service)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit to handle equipment and perform manual tasks
  • Right to work in the UK
