Finance OfficerFull-timeLambeth Primary SchoolStart Date : April / May 2025An established and welcoming primary school in the heart of Lambeth is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Officer to join their team this April. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong financial administration experience to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of school operations.The RoleAs Finance Officer, you will be working collaboratively with the Office Manager, School Business Manager, and Finance Manager, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the school. Your role will cover a wide range of finance-related tasks and administrative duties.This includes, but is not limited to : Managing and supporting key school finance procedures, including invoicing, payments, and budget trackingAccurately processing purchase orders and invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and resolving any discrepanciesMaintaining oversight of stock control, ordering supplies, and monitoring deliveriesUsing a range of systems including SIMS, FMS, Excel, and Xero – previous experience with all is highly desirableAssisting with month-end and year-end procedures, supporting the Finance Manager with financial reports and auditsSupporting wider administrative tasks where needed, including cross-team communication and documentationOccasionally working across different school sites within the federation when requiredThe SchoolThis is a vibrant and well-organised primary school, part of a multi site federation in Lambeth.
