Electronics Support Engineer – Helpdesk

NOTE : This is NOT an IT Support role – It is an electronics role

Job Type : Permanent

Location : Blackburn area, 1 week home based per month

Salary : £25,000 to £27,000

Start Date : ASAP

You will join an established business in the electronics manufacture and installation sector. As an Electronics Support Engineer – Helpdesk, your role will be to provide first line telephone support to engineers, distributors and colleagues. You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including asking customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem. You will talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an interest in electronics and prior experience in a Telephone Support role of an electronics product set.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Electronics Support Engineer – Helpdesk, Electronics Helpdesk Support Engineer, Electronics Helpdesk Support, 1st Line Electronics Support Engineer, 1st Line Technical Support – Electronics, Helpdesk, Customer Support and be living within a commutable distance of Manchester, Liverpool, Bury, Rochdale, Preston, Burnle or be willing to relocate.
