Head of Violence Reduction and Prevention

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dorset is searching for a Head of Violence Reduction and Prevention to lead the office’s violence reduction function and play a key role in influencing the development and delivery of a Violence Reduction Unit. Such work is crucial in delivering on the Commissioner's priority to fight violent crime and high harm. The role will also be responsible for bringing together partners and stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and sustainable approach to prevention and violence reduction across Dorset.

This role is based at Police Headquarters, Winfrith, Dorset with the option of Hybrid Working role which means this can be performed remotely from a variety of alternative locations including force premises, partner organisation premises or a member of staff's home.
