Job description

Civil Engineer- required for your client based in Norwich, The ideal Civil Engineer would have 3 years post Graduate experience and be interested in working on projects up to £76m but predominantly projects in the £10m - £20m range. The Civil Engineer will be interested in working on Capital Works, Residential, Hospital and University projects, The Civil Engineer will be supported with Chartership training through regular personal development days and an inhouse programme to achieve chartership.

Civil Engineer Position Overview

Detailed technical input and ensuring quality of work output on projects

Detailed Highway Design and Drainage Design

Obtaining section agreements for highways and drainage works.

Report writing.

Managing projects.

Ensuring that the project is undertaken to the specified budget and that all project-related fees and disbursements are accurately recorded and expediently recovered.

Supervise the work of more junior staff and sub-consultants

Civil Engineer Position Requirements

Experience with S38, S278, S104

Experience in Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrology and Flood Modelling

Three or more years design experience

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

Experience of MicroDrainage, AutoCad, Civils3D / PDS, hydrology mapping, etc.

Experience in client-facing roles

Comfortable leading projects

A proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ambitious, driven and eager to take on new challenges
