Senior Financial Accountant

Fixed term 9 month contract based in Jersey or London with 3 days per week in the office.

This is a critical role responsible for financial analysis on a range of corporate accounting topics and providing insightful recommendations to updates in accounting policies. The postholder will undertake year-end accounts and statutory consolidations; process financial transactions and prepare monthly management accounts; be involved in planning annual audits and producing statutory financial statements; resolve issues such as intercompany / bank reconciliation; be exposed to multiple jurisdictions; prepare and report MI, cash flow forecasting, and key involvement in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process; analyze to identify important data insights; be involved in the external audit process; prepare financial statements under Swiss GAAP, IFRS and FRS 102; and drive improvements and change.

The successful candidate will be ACA / A / ACCA / CIMA / qualified (or equivalent) with 3 years PQE; possess strong Financial Reporting Consolidation experience; be able to work under pressure, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines; demonstrate strong MS Excel and general system proficiency; have strong communication and analytical skills; be flexible and self-motivated; be a good team player; and have a working knowledge of SunSystems, Q&A, or PowerBI which is helpful but not essential.
