YOUR ROLE AS A SUPPLY TEACHER

  • In the absence of the regular teacher, you’ll take charge of the classroom. Deliver lessons based on plans left by the class teacher.
  • Ensure student progress by marking books and providing relevant feedback
  • Observe student behaviour and enforce the school’s behavioural policy.
  • Report any safeguarding issues promptly to the designated safeguarding lead (DSL).

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or ECT : You should have teaching experience within the last 5 years.
  • Familiarity with Primary School National Curriculum : Adaptability to different year groups and teaching methods.
